Call 2 Recycle
Sheraton Guildford participates in the recycling of batteries, cell phones and other technology, through a Call2recycle drop box in the staff area. Call2Recycle® is the only free rechargeable battery and cellphone collection program in North America.
In September 2012, Sheraton Guildford has established a partnership with Grease Cycle to process our waste vegetable oils. Greasecycle is a worker-owned and operated British Columbia company focused on the production and distribution of sustainable biodiesel made from Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO). Greasecycle is committed to recycling the waste cooking oil we collect into carbon-neutral energy alternatives. By contributing your oil to be recycled into biodiesel, restaurants contribute to reducing British Columbia's carbon emissions.
